Our guide will take you to our starting point & then take you on one of the most magical treks Tenerife has to offer.
We will go over the back of Masca , through mystical wooded areas , into actient Guancha clearings with reminetens of past lives, into one of the oldest farming villages & into some amazing barrancos.
This Alternative Masca trekking is not to be missed. With breathtaking views & spectacular mountain top senderos (paths) it is just an unbelievable adventure.

How long dose it take to get there?
The journey up from the south of Tenerife is 45 min. But don’t worry: This will give our English speaking guide plenty of time to give you lots of information & interesting details on the history of Tenerife
Do I need to bring anything special?
We recommend bringing good shoes, comfortable cloths and some water.

So this was our second trip out with Ben while on our holiday. we enjoyed the stargazing trip so much that we decided to do the alternative Masca hike. With only me and my wife on this trip it was so much more personal. It wasn’t an easy trek by no means and Ben definitely managed to push us to our limits physically, but as the saying goes ” no pain no gain ” and OMG was it worth it . We trekked through valleys and up mountains and saw some beautiful views . This was not just a normal set out trek , it was made more personal just for me and my wife with treks through parts that even Ben had not done before . Like I said we were definitely pushed to our limits , but every push had an option, up or down and only if we decided, with no one to let down but ourselves it was nice to know there was no pressure.
By the end of the day we were knackered , hiked just over 15km , it was the hardest and yet most rewarding hike we have ever done .
A massive thank you to Ben for helping to make our holiday truly amazing and unforgettable.
